Rizzr is a camera app that looks at you. That deserves a plain explanation rather than a wall of clauses, so here is exactly what happens to everything.
The short version
- Camera frames are never stored. A still is sent for analysis, read once, and dropped when the request finishes.
- Your voice never leaves the phone. Speech is turned into text on the device; only the text is sent.
- Pictures are saved only when you choose to keep one.
- We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
- You can delete your account and everything in it from inside the app, at any time.
Who we are
Rizzr ("we", "us") provides the Rizzr mobile app. If you want to reach a human about anything here, write to hello@rizzr.ai.
What we collect
| What | Why | Kept? |
|---|---|---|
| Name, email address and profile picture | To create your account and greet you by name. Provided by Apple or Google when you sign in — we never see or handle your password. | Until you delete your account |
| What you say or type to Rizzr, and what it answers | So the conversation makes sense across turns and is still there when you come back. | Until you delete your account |
| Pictures you keep in your closet | So you can look back at them. | Until you remove them, or delete your account |
| Short notes about a look — "warm oatmeal knit", "collar sits wide" | To describe items in your closet. | Until you delete your account |
| Camera frames during a live session | To answer the question you just asked. | No — never written anywhere |
| Your voice | Not collected. Speech becomes text on your device. | No — never leaves the phone |
| Basic technical logs (IP address, timestamps, error traces) | To keep the service running and diagnose faults. | Short-lived operational logs |
The camera, specifically
When you use Go Live, the app captures a single still at the moment you finish speaking and sends it, with your question, to be analysed. That image is held in memory for the length of that one request and then discarded. It is not saved to disk, not written to our database, and not recorded in our logs.
There is no continuous recording. The app does not capture video, and it does not capture anything while you are not in a live session.
The one exception is deliberate: if you choose to keep a moment, that picture is uploaded to your closet, because keeping it is the point. You can remove it at any time.
Who else processes it
- Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service — analyses the camera still and your question in order to produce an answer. Microsoft states that data sent to Azure OpenAI is not used to train its models.
- Google Firebase Authentication — verifies your Apple or Google sign-in.
- Microsoft Azure — hosts our servers and database.
We do not sell personal data, share it with data brokers, or use it to target advertising.
Where it lives
Our servers are hosted on Microsoft Azure. Data may be processed in a country other than the one you live in. Where the law requires it, we rely on standard contractual clauses for those transfers.
Your choices
- Camera and microphone can be refused, or withdrawn later in your device settings. Rizzr still opens; it simply tells you what it cannot do.
- Access — ask us for a copy of what we hold.
- Correction — tell us if something is wrong.
- Deletion — remove your account and its contents from inside the app, or see Account Deletion.
- Objection or restriction — depending on where you live, you may have the right to object to or restrict certain processing.
To exercise any of these, write to hello@rizzr.ai. We aim to respond within 30 days.
How long we keep things
Your account, conversation and closet stay until you delete them. When you delete your account we remove your profile, conversation history and closet, including the stored images. Backups roll off on their own schedule and are overwritten within 30 days.
Children
Rizzr is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal data, write to hello@rizzr.ai and we will delete it.
Security
Traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit. Passwords, where they exist at all, are stored only as salted hashes; sign-in tokens are stored hashed and rotate on use. No system is perfect, and we do not claim otherwise.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that materially affects you, we will say so in the app before the change takes effect. The date at the top always reflects the current version.
